If it’s a dram you fancy, you’ll be spoilt for choice…

We have an extensive selection of over 150 whiskies and try to stock at least one malt from each producing distillery in Scotland. We also stock a large number of rare and unusual malts from silent and closed distilleries. Barley grown on the owner’s family farm goes to make Glenmorangie whisky – our closest distillery as the crow flies – so naturally, it is our “house malt”.

A good starting point is our “Malt of the Month” where one of our malts is offered at a bargain price for the month!

Keeping with the local theme, the Royal is proud to serve award-winning beer on tap from both the well-known Black Isle Brewery and the newly-established Cromarty Brewing Company who started production just before Christmas 2011.

Gin-lovers will be sure to find something to their taste with our collection of craft and artisan gins - naturally, the emphasis is on Scottish gins. We offer a 'Pick & Mix Gin Menu', see here.

Our wine cellar is stocked with an excellent & well-thought out affordable selection of both old and new world wines.

We also have a great selection of beers, spirits and liqueurs, as well as a soft drinks, including the locally produced Black Isle Berries apple juice & Summerhouse Drinks from Aberdeenshire – a refreshing choice!
